DESCRIPTION & OPERATION

The Model SW-1 Bar Soap Stretch Wrapper is a manual unit designed to wrap with stretch film banded, bandless and different shaped soaps one at a time.
The Operator feeds manually the film and the soaps directly into the stretching station and starts the stretching procedure by actuating simultaneously two safety push-buttons.
The square shaped of 300 x 300 mm stretch film fed from reel is manually cut.
The soaps and the wrapping film are lowered into the wrapping head by a pneumatic cylinder and the film is stretched on the top of the soap by using a manually activated iris.
A manually activated hot knife seals and cuts the excess film while the operator removes the cut excess film.
The label has to be applied manually after the soaps has been discharged.
Most of the soaps can be wrapped with the size change part supplied with the machine. Additional size change parts (at an extra cost) are available for those dimensions and shapes that exceed the range of the basic size group.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION

The Model SW-15 Bar Soap Stretch Wrapper is designed to wrap with stretch film all banded, bandless and specialty shaped soaps.
The Operator feeds the stamped soaps directly into the stretching station.
The stretch film is fed from reel. A square shaped film of 300 x 300 mm is cut from the reel and  is moved under the soap  by a cam operated mechanism.
The soap and the wrapping film are lowered into the wrapping head. During the transfer the film is pre-stretched.
The wrapping head, with the soap inside, stretches the film around the soap using an iris.
A hot knife cuts the film and seals it. Two fingers hold, transfer and discharge the excess film in a tube connected with air ejector.
An automatic labeller applies roll fed self-adhesive labels, on top of each soaps.
The wrapped, sealed and labelled soaps are discharged onto an independent driven discharge conveyor.

• The SW-15 is a mechanical unit with cam operated mechanisms.
• All contact parts with the soap are made of special rubber or stainless steel.
• Safety guards panels with electronic safety interlocks.

• Prewired electrical controls and operator panel according to I.E.C standards.
• PLC, encoder, programmer and Guerzè operator with diagnostic screen.
