MACHINE DESCRIPTION

The machine model GMP-50 is designed to form, fill and seal bags for all types of product in three-sides seals packaging style starting from a single reel of laminated or polyethylene film.
The main characteristic of this wrapper is to be completely mechanical driven by one cam that drives all sealing moves.
The absence of pneumatic drivers permit to reach high performances even with aggressive products and powders, avoiding long interventions stops.
In case of polyethylene film, the seals are obtained by an electromagnetic impulse system assembled on welding jaws, insulated with Teflon and cooled by water, controlled by new generation electronic cards, auto measured and self learning. A cooling device is available as option.
In case of laminating film the seals are obtained by two jaws: their temperature is controlled by thermocouples.
The configuration of the machine (for polyethylene film or laminating film) is chosen by the customer during the purchasing.
The motorized unwinder, controlled by a sensor on a rocker arm, helps the two drive belts placed on the frontal side of machine, and avoid straining too much the unwinding of the film.
An encoder, in case of continuous printed film, controls the bag length or in case printed film with spots a photocell, which reads a spot, printed directly on the film (as option) permit the correct centering of whatever image on the film.
A knife saw tooth shape, placed between the horizontal sealing jaws, cut the bags, mechanically, after sealing.
All the functions are managed by a PLC through an operator display placed on the front of the machine, storing the parameters of the different size part groups.

FEATURES

The machine is fully mechanic and driven by only one hardened steel cam.
Volumetric doser, auger filler and weighing devices are available as option depending on the product.
