MACHINE DESCRIPTION

The Model SW-50 Bar Soap Stretch Wrapper is designed to wrap with stretch film all banded, bandless and specialty shaped soaps.
The Operator or the Automatic Soap Transfer model AF-50, quoted as option, feeds the stamped soaps into an indexing rotary motion soap infeed table, one soaps at a time.
The stretch film is fed from reel.
For reaching the speed of 50 pieces per minute, the unit has been equipped with two heads feeded by two film reels one per each head. A square shaped film of 300 x 300 mm is cut from the reel and it is moved with cam operated mechanism under the soap.
The soaps and the wrapping film are lowered into each wrapping head.
During the transfer the film is stretched.
Each  wrapping head, with the soap inside, stretches the film around the top of the soap by using an iris.
A hot knife cut and seal the film while two fingers hold, transfer and discharge the excess film into a tube with air ejector.
An automatic labeller applies roll fed self-adhesive labels, on top of each soaps.
The wrapped, sealed and labelled soaps are discharged onto two independent driven discharge conveyors.

ELECTRICAL AND SAFETY FEATURES

• The SW-50 is a mechanical unit with cam operated mechanisms.
• All contact parts with the soap are made of special rubber or stainless steel.
• Safety guards panels with electronic safety interlocks.
• Discharge conveyor for wrapped and labelled product.
• Excess stretch film collecting container.
• The indexing rotary soap infeed table has removable rubber pockets according to the shape of the soap. This feature allows for quick and easy changeover from one size to another, in about 10 minutes.
• Prewired electrical controls and operator panel according to I.E.C standards.
• PLC, encoder, programmer with diagnostic screen.
